Well, again, I am late posting a monthly update on little Andrew. I'm so glad I write everything down!
On August 26th, he turned seven months old.
He has had a busy month and is seeming more like a toddler every day. He is one busy and active little guy!
Seven Month Stats:
- Sitting unassisted (He was so happy to master this!)
- Eating lots of new foods. So far he's had rice, oatmeal, brown rice, squash, sweet potatoes, carrots, green peas, green beans, apples, bananas, apricots, blueberries, and pears. Mostly eats food three times a day.
- First visit to a restaurant, Olive Garden, on Mommy and Daddy's Anniversary. He was so sweet and just sat in the high chair happily the entire time.
- Making consonant sounds, such as "ba", "da", and "ga"
- Mouthing "Mama". He's so close to saying it!
- Dropped the 5th feeding between 10:30 and 11:30 pm. He now eats at 7:30-8:30am, Noon, 3:30pm, and 7:00-7:30pm.
- He is taking three naps, mostly and goes to bed about 7:30 or 8pm and sleeps until at least 7am.
- LOVES to sing and tries to drown out (successfully most of the time) Hannah and Hudson with his screams. It is hilarious!
He loves his taggie blanket.
CUTIE PIE
What???
He loves rides in the stroller.
And especially loves this chair.....time to eat!
He has good "helpers"
Andrew's hair was out of control and it was obvious I had to trim it a little. He's only seven months old and I didn't want an official "haircut" so I just trimmed the long pieces behind his ears and just a little on his forehead. The pieces behind his ears reached down to his shoulders and it looked weird. I was sad to do it, but it needed it.
BEFORE
AFTER
I couldn't believe how much that little trim made him look different. I almost cried. He looked like such a big boy after!
Andrew and Daddy....the twins
You can't tell, but he really does have my DNA....somewhere.
We are having so much fun with this little guy. He has brought us so much joy and laughter!
It's funny how the baby-raising tasks and things don't seem like a big deal at all the third time around.
