Hudson's First Day of Preschool!

Monday, August 12th was Hudson's very first day of school.....ever!!!

He has been so excited about preschool. He has been quite jealous of Hannah getting to go to school the last couple of years. 

He goes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

In honor of his first day, we gave him the Curious George book, "First Day of School" along with a Curious George backpack to take back and forth. He was very excited to share that his teacher read his book during circle time that first day. 

And he was very proud that he got to be the line leader that day as well. 

He says his favorite part about preschool so far is snack. They got to have little white doughnuts and have a tea party. I'm sure the excitement is largely due to the fact that he's never had a little white doughnut and we don't have stuff like that at home. It made an impression.

Hudson and Mrs. Linda

We have been very excited that Hudson would have Mrs. Linda as his preschool teacher like Hannah did. She is very special to us, and we know she will be to Hudson (just like she still is to Hannah). 

When I picked him up, Mrs. Linda commented on how sweet he was and how he cleaned up so well after himself.

We're so proud of our big preschooler!
