Trike-A-Thon and Hawk Walk Race

Hudson had his long-awaited and highly anticipated bike race! He was so very excited!

That boy was so determined. He got his game face on and took off and didn't look back. He was all business. He wouldn't even look at me when I yelled at him from the sidelines. I don't even think he heard me. He was so focused. It's so cute how he gets like that. Nothing else mattered except the goal. He peddled until they made him stop. We were so proud of his determination and hard work.

We were so glad Daddy was able to take an hour from work to come see the race. 

Just before Hudson's bike race Hannah's class did their Hawk Walk race. They did laps on campus. Hannah finished eleven laps. She ran like crazy! I was so proud of her. She only stopped to grab some water and she ran and hardly walked during it. They all did a great job. 

It was a fun morning watching our kids race. Even though it was 37 degrees, it turned out to be a great race day. I'm so thankful to be able to be there for things like this!
