Wyatt at 7 months

May 17, 2015

It was a busy month for Wyatt!

He is happy and silly. He smiles all the time. He is easy to please and make laugh. He is rarely fussy and even his fussiness is not clear to most people (it sounds like passionate babbling). He rarely cries, unless he wakes up cranky. But, that is even short-lived. It only take a word or two and he gives me a big smile and is happy.
He is an awesome sleeper and is very ready for bedtime by the end of the night. He loves to play on the floor for a long time, just exploring and scooting all over.

Wyatt started hopping on his knees this month and just before the seven months mark, he started crawling for real!

He is still very laid-back and easy to take places. He still just goes with the flow of whatever we need to do.

Wyatt had his first vacation this month when we went to Wilderness at the Smokies for a couple of nights. He slept wonderfully and even napped in my lap by the pool for almost every nap. And, though he still isn't fond of baths, we discovered that he didn't mind pool water!

This boy is all over the floor, twisting and flipping.

He also got his first tooth this month!
It came through two days before turning seven months old.
He has a swollen blue place beside it where the other one is trying to come in. He doesn't let it get him down, though! He's such a sweet and happy little guy.

This is one of my all-time favorite Wyatt pictures!

By 6 1/2 months he can make his way to what he wants and tries to pull up on the toy baskets to get the toys inside.

His hair is filling in quickly and getting long and more blonde, I wonder how long it has to get before it stops standing straight up!

He has started having some separation anxiety if I hand him off to someone he doesn't know well, but is still a really good sport.

Wyatt loves wrestling with his brothers already!

He sits up some now and will even sit up from crawling or laying down, though he needs a little work with balancing well.

Halfway through the month this big guy got the hang of eating from a spoon and enjoys eating. He has had bananas, pears, peaches, applesauce, carrots, and rice cereal so far. He seems to like it all, especially the applesauce.

He wants to get around by himself so badly!

He gets so excited to play with Daddy!

He is always interested in what the big kids are doing and goes right for their things if they leave them out. They all really love playing with him too. They take care of him and give him lots of kisses every day.

We look so forward to see his little personality develop more and see him accomplish what he sets out to do.
