Camping at Ocoee with Family

July 17-18, 2015

The weekend after Hannah's birthday, Aunt Jenn and Uncle Joe brought Madison, Gabe, and Brody and came to visit us. The men and some kids hiked, then set up tents while Jenn and I grilled hamburgers for dinner at Thunder Rock campground. It was fun having dinner over the fire and we all agreed that the hamburgers were extra yummy that way. The men and the big kids camped overnight in the tents and Jenn and I brought Wyatt home and met them for breakfast the next morning. After all the tents were broken down and the cars were loaded, we went to the Whitewater Center to spend the day walking around and enjoying watching the rafters. I think the cousins had a  lot of fun exploring together and watching the boats go by. We enjoyed another picnic for lunch by the river. It was a nice weekend showing them new experiences that they don't get to enjoy in Alabama. It was fun to share our favorite Tennessee summer activities with family!

Helping Daddy set up the tent

Uncle Joe was a big help making sure everyone had a soft air mattress to sleep on in the tents.

Andrew especially loved the hammock.

The oldest cousins
They are growing way too fast!

The cousins (minus Wyatt in the stroller)
I wish they could all spend more time together!

A kind man took a group shot for us at the end of our day.
We will have to make this an annual event!
