Happy New Year!!!

Well, we rang in the new year with sickness all around. Our first night in Dothan (Wednesday) marked the beginning of our journey of sickness that seems to be lasting indefinitely. Hannah began coughing that night and it worsened for a few days but has been getting progressively better for several days now. She only coughs when laying down now. We are thankful that hers has not been as bad as ours. I got sick on Sunday and thought I was on the road to recovery only to worsen again. My chest is so sore and I have a constant headache. This was followed by Rodney getting sick on Tuesday and Hudson starting to cough that day as well. I did all I could do to separate myself and be really careful not to get the boys sick, but what can you do? Rodney has been working late every night, and the sickness spread anyway. Hudson has only had a cough that affects him when laying down, just like Hannah's. We are thankful that they have not struggled as badly as Rodney and I have. It's hard to see my little Hudson cough and know that I can not medicate him for his cough. I have done all the other tricks, though and they seem to be helping. So, please pray that we recover completely over the weekend and can get back to normal. Let's hope this year will find us all in much better health!
