Hudson discovered a new way to play in his exersaucer.
I can't believe Hudson is already 8 months (tomorrow)! I feel like I blinked on the day he was born and here we are 8 months later as if only a second has gone by. I felt like it went way too fast with Hannah and now with 2 kids it just feels like a whirlwind. We are truly blessed to have our little ones. They give us such joy every day.
Hudson's New Accomplishments: Cruising (I brought the laundry basket and turned it upside down just tonight and he cruised from it to the ottoman and back-I should have tried this sooner), getting anywhere he wants to go and fast.
New Funny Things: He makes this clicking noise with his tongue. He wants you to do it too. He LOVES to roll around on the exercise ball and bounce (he gets so excited and squeals with joy), and he loves to play with balls. He also has a real fondness for Hannah's dollhouse. She doesn't like that very much. Mommy doesn't like it when he plays with the floor lamp cord and the door stopper, but he always seems to make a beeline for them. It's only the beginning!
We got new portraits made yesterday. Hudson and I spent the day at the mall and shopping. He's so good I had the ease of being by myself but the joy of spending precious time with him. He did very well for the photos, but wanted to crawl off every time I sat him down. It would be funny to be a fly on the wall in that room. You do some crazy things to get your child to smile for pictures. My secret weapon for the really good smiles was singing "Go Tell it on the Mountain". It's a crowd favorite at our house. He smiles, starts singing (trying to anyway) and starts rocking back and forth when he hears it. So cute!
Daddy is back to first shift this week and will hopefully be home a lot more. Yea! We missed him!
Love the sweet bath pictures! That is one of my favorite times with Miller. Thanks for the info on the organic produce in Boaz. I'll definitely check that out!
