My best friend......ever

Hudson.........
My middle.
He's sweet. He's sensitive.
He thinks deeply....and kept talking about dying today (we've been talking a lot about Jesus' death and what that means for us).
His baby brother is his favorite thing/person to play with.
He adores his big sister and will do anything she asks.
Today he was Hudson, Captain America, a firefighter, and a dragon...or alligator depending on which he feels like saying he is. I kept telling him that alligators don't have little wings on their backs, but he insisted.
He loves doing "homework" now when Hannah does hers.
Today he made a puppet out of stickers, construction paper, a couple of popsicle sticks, and a roll of tape.
He has memorized how to spell his name and writes it on his own now (sometimes forgetting the "d"). He even writes his "s" and his "n" the correct way.
He's actually really good at cutting with scissors.
He loved it when I pulled out his snow gloves today and actually wore them to bed. I just checked on him. He is asleep with his arms over his head and is still wearing them.
He is such a good sport and just wants to be included.
He is now into playing with his super hero action figures and has them in dialogue with one another. It's very interesting to listen in.
His number one request for lunch is yogurt.
Give him a plate full of fruit and he is one happy guy.
He will tell you that his favorite color is still, in fact, brown.
He is so sweet to offer a kind word of affection at any moment, like.....
"Andrew, I love you all the way to ten!"
And
he walks up to me at least twice a day and says,
"You're my best friend.........ever."
