Mother's Day 2015

Friday, May 8, 2015
Hudson and I celebrated together at his Kindergarten Mother's Day Tea, and I was presented some very sweet momentos and prizes. He and the kids in his class sang songs and read aloud what they appreciated most about each of their mothers. Hudson said "for helping me." In the letter that accompanied my portrait he drew of me (with all my wild hair), he wrote "This is my mom. Her name is Tonnya. I call her Momu. I love her because she is nys. I like it when we cook toogether."
He's so cute. He was grinning proudly the whole time as he gave me all my goodies. And he especially enjoyed the muffins and tea cakes they served while we were there.

I got my teapot picture frame, a pillow with Hudson's prints and picture on it, and some sweet laminated papers-one drawing of me and one telling me what he loved about me.
What a special thing these sweet teachers do!

On Saturday, Hannah and I enjoyed our annual church ladies tea. We had some yummy catered food on china and drank tea while we listened to a speaker and enjoyed some fellowship with friends. We love doing this together!

I actually remembered to get a Mother's Day picture of me with all the kids this year after church!
I am so very thankful to be these kids' Mommy!
