New happenings:
* He wakes up happy and playing in the mornings.
* He dropped his third nap at 6 1/2 months.
* He tried solid food at 6 1/2 months. He wasn't getting it at first and was unsure of what to do. He did not like oatmeal.
* He's learning how to put the pacifier in his mouth on his own when he's laying on his tummy. Yay!
*He seemed to start having teething pain and was uncharacteristically fussy some toward the end of his sixth month. He always wants something in his mouth the gnaw on.
* He had two more little colds/congestion.
*We finally did the room transitions and moved Andrew out of the nursery and Wyatt moved to his own room on April 5th (He slept from 8:30pm to 9am that night).
* He started really babbling.
*He grew lots of new hair this month. He always has a mohawk. His hair won't lay down even if you try to slick it down.
*I put him on the floor on his tummy to play one day just before he turned six months and he got on his knees and starting rocking back and forth like he would crawl. He can scoot forward and backward.
This sweet and laid-back boy endured some crazy outings, including soccer games in the freezing cold.
*He hit a major growth spurt this month.
*We dropped the last feeding (11:00pm). He was unphased.
Wyatt almost always has a playmate on the floor with him.

*He started the fun acts of arching his back and locking his limbs while we try to change him or buckle him in his car seat.
*We have to wrestle him to change him.
He is so happy to be able to get a hold of his brothers' toys!

Things to remember:
*One favorite memory from this month was when we put him in his Bumbo seat and gave him a toy and when the toy was taken away or dropped, he got so mad and started pitching a fit. He had the most determined look on his face while he was beating it on the table making a racket and couldn't stand it when it stopped. We made a video. He did the same thing at least ten times in a row.
*One night at dinner we again sat him in his Bumbo seat on the dinner table in the middle of us all eating and he stuck his finger in Daddy's vegetable soup. He sucked on that finger and licked his lips and kept trying to grab the spoon. He then refused baby oatmeal as if it wasn't good enough.
