The Frozen Tundra

Who would have thought Albertville would get so much snow? About 6 inches! We have no back-up heat source if we were to lose power, so in preparation Sunday we packed up the kids and all of our stuff and headed over to Aunt Glenda and Uncle Jimmy's house. They were so sweet to let us and our crazy amount of stuff pile in on them to weather the storm. We didn't end up losing power at our house anyway, but it was so nice to spend that time with them and our cousin, Jason. Rodney didn't have to go in to work on Monday or Tuesday because the roads were iced over, so he got to stay with us and just hang out. That was so nice. It was a really wonderful couple of days, but we are home now and back to normal. I am still trying to come up with new projects and games for the kids to do every day to help with this stir-craziness.
Our little snowman

The only happy picture of Hudson in the snow. (He's not actually in the snow. He's swinging).

Mommy and Hannah

Hannah had a blast in the snow even though it was frozen over and not very easy to play in. Here she is with a sheet of ice-covered snow.

Hudson's reaction to the snow. He didn't like it this go-around. It was hard for him to walk. It might have had something to do with the fact that he had like 12 layers of clothes on and couldn't get up when he fell down. He just wanted to be held and didn't scream went we went inside this time.
We have snow flurries falling onto our frozen white yard as I type. The driveway is slush and you need sunglasses to look the window. Funny how different it is from normal.
Thanks again to Nana, Uncle Jimmy and Jason for letting us stay with them and for loving us so much! We love you!
Oh, how could I forget.......WARRRR EAGGGLLLLLEEE!!!!!! National Champs! What an awesome game!
