We made a special visit to Dothan for a sweet visit with family and celebration of my nephew, Brody's, 1st birthday. Sadly, I forgot to take my camera to the party and missed the opportunity to post adorable pictures of little Brody on his special occasion. But, I remembered my camera the day before when we made a spontaneous trip down to Panama City, FL for a day at the beach. BB had the day off and was able to go with us, and we were so happy she did! Also, my dear, sweet soul sister, Emily, was staying in PC on her last day of vacation with her family so I got to spend time with her as well. It was so much fun! Thanks, Em for sharing your condo with us for that day (and for loaning us swimsuits)! Their condo was right on the beach and perfect for taking lunch and nap breaks...not to mention the awesome hang-out time! Daddy didn't get to make the trip with us, but I was so glad that the kids got to go to the beach for at least one day this year!
Hudson was super excited and very brave. He actually was a little daredevil. Mommy had to snatch him up from under the waves once, but he didn't mind though. He's so tough and laid-back.

This was so cute. Rebekah (my friend's sweet little girl) and Hannah loved jumping the waves together. They both still talk about jumping waves that day.

I was so glad we decided to go to the beach for the day. It was very relaxing and fun. The weather was perfect and you couldn't beat the company.....though having having Daddy there would have been nice too.
