Wordgirl

Well, right after my last post and all in the same weekend, Hannah progressed from writing just an "H" to writing her whole name! Granted the "N"s are backwards most of the time, but she can write her name! She is so excited that she has learned to draw and write! She is constantly asking us now what words spell. She notices words on cereal boxes, packages, books, everything. She can read about 25 words now and has been for a while through the "Your Baby Can Read" videos and cards we've been doing for about a year. It's amazing to think that my two year old can draw, read, sign (about 25-30 words), and write her name. We are so very proud of her! It feels so good to have a child with such a thirst for learning and challenging herself.
