Last week I took Hudson for a little field trip for some Mommy & Me time.
Our Create and Celebrate Studio here in Cleveland does what they call a "Peewee Picasso" class on Thursday for kids six and under to come in and paint with instruction.
So, as with just about every outing that I plan just for "fun" with my sweet four-year-old, it wasn't without a meltdown. But, after he got over his being bent out of shape over me mixing his paint color he actually did quite well.
He painted the sky with a brush and the rest with his fingers. He did what the instructor told him and had a cute painting in the end.
So, it was worth the rocky start!
