BCHE Field Day

May 12, 2016

Hannah and Andrew got to participate in our local county-wide homeschool group's field day.

They were divided into groups based on age, with each team given a color. Hannah was on the red team and Andrew and the preschoolers made up the white team. Andrew was kind of a giant among the preschoolers! He had a bit of an advantage in the physical games.

Andrew was an awesome leap-frogger!

Egg race

Wet sponge relay

Andrew also dominated the foot race against all the tiny girls.

He even liked the sponge game.

Wyatt was a good sport and enjoyed walking around watching everyone.

I wish I had gotten pictures of the award ceremony, but it start raining very hard immediately after the races and continued through the ceremony.

But, Hannah won one first place ribbon and three second place ribbons on her team. Andrew won three first place ribbons and one third place ribbons on his team. I really wish I had captured the moment when Andrew walked up and received his first ribbon. He was so very proud and excited that he got his own ribbons! He had the cutest open-mouthed ear-to-ear smile on his face. I hope I remember that face the rest of my life.
